Building on First Frame Film Academy’s five-day summer program in the Dominican Republic, this Chattanooga extension brings the complete filmmaking process into a focused, hands-on experience.
Through guided activities and small-team collaboration, students explore story development, scriptwriting, production planning, camera operation, directing, editing, and promoting their work. Short audiovisual projects connect creative storytelling with community health awareness, including topics such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.
Beyond filmmaking, the program is designed to strengthen confidence, collaboration, leadership, and creative expression, helping young people discover their voices and explore opportunities in the creative arts.
“In everything we do, we aim to spark conversations that cultivate meaningful connections and strengthen our sense of community. From this shared foundation, we hope to inspire greater collaboration, leading to cultural diplomacy and collective growth.”
